Scan from any TWAIN or WIA scanner straight into the browser, or collect documents from folders, mailboxes, cloud storage and databases. DocView reads print, handwriting, tick boxes and barcodes, sorts and classifies the documents, checks the data against your rules, and delivers it to your systems. We can host it for you, or you can run it on your own servers or in your own cloud.
A Batch Setup describes one kind of work once: the workflow, image clean-up, how pages become documents, what each document is, which data to find, how to check it and where to send it. Operators only see what needs their attention; documents that are found, confident and valid go straight through to export.

What kinds of documents can it process?
Anything you can scan or import as PDF, TIFF, JPEG or PNG: invoices, credit notes, purchase orders, receipts, forms, letters, delivery notes, claims, statements, contracts and more. 72 ready-made templates get you started, and you can define your own document types and fields.
Can it read handwriting and tick boxes?
Yes. DocView reads hand printing in boxes and handwriting in zones, tick boxes (choosing the clearest tick and flagging unclear ones to an operator) and signature boxes.
Which barcodes does it read?
Every common 1D and 2D barcode, including QR codes, at any angle and several per page, plus patch codes. Barcodes can separate documents, identify them and fill fields.
Is it suitable for invoice capture?
Yes. Invoice templates for the UK, Europe and the USA read invoice numbers, dates, suppliers, VAT numbers, amounts and line items, check totals, VAT numbers, IBANs and duplicates, and match suppliers against your own master data.
