Clear terms, nothing hidden
Per installation
DocView Capture is licensed per installation with a signed licence file. Activate it online, or load the file offline with no internet connection.
Try before you buy
Use the 14-day online demo with no installation, or install DocView and use it fully for 30 days without a licence. These are two separate offers.
Nothing is lost
If a licence ends, DocView becomes read-only. Everything can still be opened until a licence is installed.
Hosting is separate
The $250 licence does not include hosting. We can host it on Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or another provider of your choice, or you can run it on your own servers or cloud.

Is the recognition engine included?
Yes. The built-in recognition engine, which reads printed text, handwriting and barcodes on your own servers, is covered by the DocView Capture licence.
Are there per-page charges?
Not for the built-in recognition engine. If you switch on a third-party cloud service inside DocView Capture (for example Azure, Google, AWS or an AI model), that provider charges you directly for its own usage.
Can you host DocView Capture for us?
Yes. Dev Soft UK can host it for you on Microsoft Azure, AWS, Google Cloud or another service provider of your choice. The cost is extra to the software licence and depends on your requirements and document volumes. Contact sales@docview.ai for a quote.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. Try the online demo free for 14 days with no credit card, or install DocView and use the 30-day evaluation.
What happens if a licence ends?
DocView becomes read-only. Everything can still be opened and nothing is lost until a licence is installed.
