What we collect

• Enquiries. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, e-mail address, company, telephone number, what you are interested in, your monthly page volume, your message and the page you sent it from.
• E-mail and telephone. If you contact us directly, we keep what you send us and our replies.
• Website analytics. If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics collects information about how you use this website. See our cookie policy.
• Technical information. Our web server and contact form process your IP address to deliver the site and limit abuse of the form.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

• To answer your enquiry and follow up about our products: our legitimate interests, or steps you asked for before a contract.
• To understand how the website is used: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep the website secure: our legitimate interests.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run this website and our e-mail, including, if you accept analytics cookies, Google. We do not sell your personal information. These providers include GoDaddy (hosting) and Zoho (e-mail). Some of them, and our office in Surat, India, may process information outside the UK. Where that happens, we rely on the protections that UK data protection law requires for the transfer. You can ask us for details.

The free demo runs on a separate site with its own sign-up, which asks for your name, work e-mail, organisation, job title, phone, country and what you would like to capture. We use these to set up and support your demo and to talk to you about it. Please use only fictional sample documents in the demo.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiries and related e-mails for 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them, unless you become a customer or the law requires us to keep them longer.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your personal information, and ask us to correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, or transfer it. You can object to our use of it, including for marketing, and withdraw consent at any time. To do this, e-mail support@docview.ai.

You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
